Girl Scouts of Greater Kansas City - Nutra-Net is listed on the Girl Scouts of Greater Kansas City website as a provider of classes that meet the requirements for the Girl Scouts' cooking badge. We provide all the food, equipment, and instruction and travel to their site of choice.
Guadalupe Center - Nutra-Net provides our hands-on nutrition/cooking classes to students at Alta Vista Charter High School and to younger students in the afterschool program at the Guadalupe Center.
Hickman Mills School District - 25 lucky 1st graders at Santa Fe Elementary School will get to learn nutrition through exciting storybooks and hands-on cooking activities during the 2010/2011 school year as Nutra-Net instructors enter Mrs. Murphy's classroom. They receive a total of 6 lessons and each child takes home a Whiz, Zip, Zap pictorial cookbook to reproduce the recipes made in class in their home environment. Twenty teen girls will be trained as Teen Health Mentors and will teach the Storytime Cooks lessons to the first graders, along with learning valuable life-skills. Teens will also be exposed to possible career choices including Dietetics, Teaching, and Culinary Arts. This project is made possible by the Women's Foundation of Greater Kansas City.

Independence School District - Funded through the United Way of Greater Kansas City, Nutra-Net staff interactively teach high school students about nutrition and healthy cooking and the importance of eating healthy and being physically active. The teens then assist younger students attending afterschool programs to prepare healthy snacks and lead them in fun physical activities. Afterschool staff are also trained in nutrition and cooking and are armed with the Whiz, Zip, & Zap It! curriculum to use with 3rd-5th grades.
Drumm Farm - Teens at Drumm Farm will be trained as Teen Health Mentors to teach cooking and nutrition to younger kids in foster care and will eventually run their own monthly cooking club, building self-esteem and a lifelong love for cooking healthy food and helping others. This newest Nutra-Net project is funded by the Junior League of Kansas City Missouri.
