Girl Scouts of Greater Kansas City - Nutra-Net is listed on the Girl Scouts of Greater Kansas City website as a provider of classes that meet the requirements for the Girl Scouts' cooking badge. We provide all the food, equipment, and instruction and travel to their site of choice.

Hickman Mills School District - Burke Elementary School's 75 lucky Kindergarteners will get to learn nutrition through exciting storybooks and hands-on cooking activities during the 2011/2012 school year as Nutra-Net's Teen Health Mentors enter classrooms. Teen Health Mentors from Ruskin High School are trained to teach students about nutrition, read nutrition-themed storybooks, and cook healthy recipes with students. Through this program, teens are exposed to possible career choices including Dietetics, Teaching, and Culinary Arts. This project is made possible by the Women's Foundation of Greater Kansas City.

Independence School District - Also funded through the Women's Foundation of Greater Kansas City, Nutra-Net staff train teen girls as Teen Health Mentors. The teens then assist younger students attending afterschool programs to prepare healthy snacks and lead them in fun physical activities. Afterschool staff are also trained in nutrition and cooking and are armed with nutrition curricula: Storytime Cooks (K-2nd grade) and Whiz, Zip, & Zap It! (3rd-5th grades).

The Women's Foundation of Greater Kansas City - The Nutra-Net, Inc. project, "Empowering Girls through Teen Mentorship," is an innovative avenue to empower teenage girls to improve their health and wellness and expose them to career opportunities through firsthand experience led by local female Registered Dietitians.
